AI-Powered Schedule Review

This course was created with the support of AI, reflecting the same practical approach it teaches: using AI as a tool to improve efficiency, structure, and analysis while keeping professional judgment at the center of the process.

Project schedule reviews can involve thousands of activities, relationships, dates, constraints, float values, and schedule changes. AI can help scheduling professionals analyze this information faster—but only when it is used with the right review process.

AI-Powered Schedule Review is a practical course designed for schedulers, planners, project controls professionals, project managers, engineers, and construction professionals who want to use AI tools such as ChatGPT as part of their schedule review workflow.

This course focuses on practical applications rather than AI theory. You will learn how to prepare schedule information for AI review, work with schedule data from XER and Excel files, evaluate schedule quality, analyze logic and critical paths, compare schedule updates and forecasts, and identify potential schedule risks and inconsistencies.

You will also learn how AI can support crew planning, help organize schedule findings, and transform technical observations into clear and professional review comments.

Throughout the course, the emphasis is on using AI as an analytical assistant—not as a replacement for professional scheduling judgment.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to build a structured and repeatable AI-assisted schedule review process that can be applied to monthly updates, contractor schedule reviews, project controls reporting, and schedule analysis.

Topics covered include:

• Setting up ChatGPT for schedule review

• Working with XER and Excel schedule data
