Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Course Deals Zone ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. You can browse the site without an account and without giving us any personal details.

Information we collect

Your email address, if you subscribe

If you sign up for coupon alerts we store the email address you enter and the date you signed up. We use it only to send you those alerts. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers. To be removed, email support@coursedealszone.com from that address and we'll delete it.

Course view counts

When a course page is opened we add one to that course's daily view total. Only the total is stored; it isn't linked to you, your device or your IP address.

Your theme choice

If you switch between the light and dark theme, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the same on your next visit. It never leaves your device.

Server logs

Like most websites, the servers that host this site keep short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include IP address, browser type and the page requested. They are used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site shows ads through Google AdSense, which is how it stays free to use.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can opt out of other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

Where the law requires it, you are asked for your consent before advertising cookies are used, and you can change that choice at any time.

Cookies

We don't set cookies of our own. The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings; the site will still work.

Links to other sites

Course links take you to Udemy, and ads can take you to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what you do there, including enrolling in a course, is between you and them.

Who we share information with

We don't sell personal information. Data is handled on our behalf by the companies that host the site and its database, and by Google for analytics and advertising as described above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit how it is used. The only personal information we hold directly is a subscriber's email address. To use any of these rights, email support@coursedealszone.com.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
