95% of managers are dissatisfied with traditional performance evaluation processes. 30% of performance reviews actually reduce employee performance instead of improving it. Managers complete forms in 5 minutes before the deadline — using generic phrases with no specifics. Employees receive random ratings, feel frustrated by unfairness, and the forms end up forgotten in a drawer. Sounds familiar?
The problem is not the people. The problem is the forms. A poor form guarantees a formal, meaningless process. The right form makes performance reviews useful, fast, and fair.
This Playbook is different. It is not another theoretical Performance Management course. It is a 3-session program after which you will have a complete set of 12 performance evaluation forms for any situation, a library of ready-to-use phrases, and a launch plan for your company’s review cycle.
What’s inside:
12 Performance Review form templates — annual, quarterly, probation 30-60-90, 360-degree, self-assessment, manager review, peer review, project-based, leadership, sales, technical, and simplified. Suitable for any role and any business scenario in your company.
A library of 170+ ready-made performance review phrases — covering 10 key competencies and 5 rating levels, from “significantly below expectations” to “exceptional.” Copy directly into your forms instead of writing feedback from scratch.
A script for the performance review meeting — a step-by-step 45-minute conversation scenario with word-for-word phrases for difficult situations: disagreement with ratings, emotional reactions, promotion requests, or resignation discussions.
A Performance Review process maturity checklist — a 15-point assessment with a 1–5 scoring system completed in just 10 minutes.
An annual review cycle calendar — when to set goals, conduct self-assessments, manager reviews, calibration sessions, and final meetings. Includes roles and deadlines for every stage.
A Performance Review metrics dashboard — Completion Rate, rating distribution, calibration drift, review-to-promotion correlation, impact on engagement, including formulas and industry benchmarks.
5 AI prompts for Claude and ChatGPT — to generate forms, review wording, and adapt everything to your company’s competency model.
In just 3 sessions, you will go from diagnosis to launch: identify where your current review process breaks down, create a completed form for a real employee, and receive an implementation plan with a calendar, metrics, and ROI justification for leadership discussions.
The course is led by Mike — creator of the HR system behind unicorn startup Preply, with 20 years of HR experience across Wargaming, iDeals, Альфа-Банк, and PeopleForce, and 150,000+ HR professionals and managers trained in 185 countries. Not a theorist — someone who personally implemented these performance review systems in companies of different sizes and maturity levels.
If your forms have not changed in 5 years — this Playbook will relaunch them. If you are building a review process from scratch — you will receive a complete toolkit for every scenario. If you are consulting clients — you will gain a professional-grade set of tools suitable for any industry.
